"While casually browsing through social media, I impulsively ordered two of these massagers online. Initially, I was skeptical and didn't have much faith in them. However, after a slight delay in shipping, I gave them a shot for a week and noticed some slight relief. On account of the numerous positive reviews, I decided to continue using them for another week. It was during this time that I began to experience a significant difference. After two additional weeks had passed, I was delighted to discover that my knee pain had completely vanished! It was as if it had never existed."
"I was uncertain about the long-term effectiveness, but because I've been suffering from knee pain for quite some time, I decided to give it a try. Even though I take OTC medication for the pain, if I forget to take a dose, the pain serves as a reminder that it's still present. The instructions were straightforward, and the Soothenix Knee Massager even included a video that demonstrated how to use it and how to position it on your knee. On the first day that I used it, I allowed it to complete its cycle, and honestly, it felt incredibly pleasant. After the session had ended, the pain vanished completely. After a while, I even forgot that I had ever experienced any pain. If it weren't for my new knee massager, I would have taken around four pills in the same period! I would wholeheartedly suggest this massager to anyone dealing with chronic knee pain. It is genuinely effective!"
"I've been suffering from knee pain for over 20 years, and the only relief I've ever experienced is through visits to a physical therapist, which, of course, are only temporary. When I placed an order for the Nooro Knee Massager, I must admit that I was skeptical. However, now I can say without hesitation that it really does work! While the long-term effects are yet to be seen, I am hopeful and looking forward to being able to go through my day without having to rely on painkillers. So far, the only drawback is that my husband keeps taking it away from me."
At 56 I decided to start getting into shape. I quickly realised that the one part of my body that was struggling was my knees - whether running, walking or doing pilates I was always in discomfort around the knees a day later. I assumed it would wear off but after a year I was getting to a point where I was contemplating giving up and turning to diets - the problem is I can't stick to diet plans and withing a couple of months of giving up exercising I had put on 2 stone I needed to get back to exercise and I googled for knee relief stuff and found this product. Used it once and unbelievably I am not in any pain at all after exercise including squats etc. I am perplexed that it works so well. Hopefully it lasts!
It really works!!! I have excruciating pain on my left knee for a long time. According to the orthopedic surgeon; I need to have a knee replacement!! I didn't feel comfortable with his suggestion. So, I went online and browse through Amazon and see if I could find something to ease the pain! OMG! I found this product & bought it and have been using it for the last 3 - 4 days!! It really helps!! Don't feel the pain when I walk and exercise!!
I was so skeptical about this item when I ordered it that I was planning on what I would try next. I have only had this for two days and on the first use I felt a definite improvement. My ability to walk was truly limited and I was issued a handicap placard for my car. I have now used this device four times and I felt better each time I used it. Directions are easy to understand and the unit is easily installed on the knees. What I have is osteoarthritis that I thought was caused by a bad knee. Doctor told me my knee was fine and my problem was being caused by osteoarthritis. Cortisone didn't work this system seem to be working fine. I have now been using this for over a week and I am having the same results. The pain is gone and I'm starting to walk up steps foot over foot instead of one step at a time. The side of my knees used to be sore to the touch. That has gone away. I think if i stopped using it I would be back in the same problem.
I suffer with chronic knee pain in my left knee due to a military injury. Cold treatment works some but I find that heat treatment works better. I tried out the Sunyark Knee Massager and it's LED heat unit and I've been using it every day since. The unit is hard plastic with elastic band to hold it in place. It has a touch screen to adjust the amount of heat and intensity and pattern of the massage. Underneath, where the knee cap sits, it has a thermal LED light that is pretty intense. You can feel the heat penetrating into the joint as you use it. Everything is easily accessible on the control panel and adjustments are just the push of a button. The massage feature is an added touch that complements the heat. If you so desire it can be run with heat or massage only. This unit is definitely making a difference in my life. I use it at least twice a day.
I bought this product because I have rheumatoid arthritis in both knees. I use it once a day after work and it release some of the pain. I know the recommendation is to use it 3x a day. even with one time it takes the pain away for al least one or two hours.
I've tried a lot of different massage devices that strap on your knees and/or shoulders and have been let down, a lot - until now! This massager is very well made, and very well padded. Love the quality of this. It reminds me of a well-padded motocross helmet. It has 2 large massage nodes/disks on each side of the knee, that are thick and generate a strong massage 'buzz'. This is not an air bag device that fills with air and then releases it. I find the 'buzz' to be strong enough to truly give a (type) of massage and as it runs it cycle you feel it deeper and deeper. I like the first setting that it is on when you first turn it on, as it runs through different patterns and lengths of buzzing/massage time. I like the heat, as it too is adequate to generate enough warmth (through clothing) to help relax tired and sore muscles. There is a heating element on top of the knee as well as the red lights over the kneecap, that generate some heat as well. You can use this with, or without clothing - and will feel the heat much more without anything between the unit and your skin. I really like the hard-shell on this too. Like I said, it reminds me of a well-padded helmet. There are too hook-n-loop straps that are comfortable enough. I find any straps a little uncomfortable, but I can forget I have this strapped on, so they work nicely for me. I do have to fiddle around with placement, and tightness of the straps, but that isn't a negative, just part of using anything you strap on your body. To me, it is very comfortable to wear - which says a lot, as most things I find awkward and uncomfortable enough that I won't use them. This - I will use, often. And - I love it on my shoulders too! I've tried a lot of different shoulder massage and heating devices and until now, haven't found any that I would tolerate wearing, or that actually provide a massage to the top of my shoulders, that penetrated deep enough to truly help relieve pain and relax tense muscles - this one does!! Takes a little getting used to and trusting that only one strap on your arm will hold it in place - but it does. I have a cheater strap from other shoulder wrap devices that would work to strap this around my body, but I prefer not to wear an additional strap - unless I really, really want to walk around wearing this - which I don't. I can wear this and work on the computer with ease. Oh, and I found this works great on my elbows too! That's a bonus for me. Nothing fits or works well on elbows - well, until now - my elbows fit into this just right! Hey, maybe it would work on my heels and lower ankles.... I'll play around with that later. Great price currently as well - around $150 for this is well worth it. I've tired much more expensive, thin wraps with red light therapy (and heat) that cost far more, and they didn't provide half the results as this device. Highly recommend giving this a try!
I have recently had a bad flare up with my knees, I have had osteoarthritis for 8 years. My gp recently said that he would refer me for a double knee replacement, but only being 56, I want to hold that off for as long as I can. I had resorted to using a rollator Walker for the last 3 weeks on holiday to help me ease the pressure off of them which it did, I still had swelling when not using the rollator. I the bought the Forthiq infra red heated knee massager a week ago and found it quick & comfortable to use. 10 minutes on each knee in the morning and again before bed and it has kept me going much more than I thought it would. I have even been able to comfortably cycle on my trike for 5 miles a few days ago. It has helped me tremendously, My inflammation has reduced to nothing, I am still walking with a stick outside the home, but, the pain has reduced to a twinge every now an then. I’m sleeping much better and my neuropathy in my thighs has eased. I’m just taking a couple of paracetamol if necessary but not everyday. My knees have not been clicking and popping when I bend them like they have for years after using the heated massager, it must be circulating the blood supply well. My husband has even put it on his shoulder and it has given him relief from his shoulder strain. The only downside to this massager is that the straps need to be about 3 inches longer, I had to use the Velcro from my patella knee support straps as extensions and they work really well to make if a good fit for me. This product has worked extremely well for me and the relief it has given me has been worth every penny spent on it.
my brother has been using this for a knee injury he had recently. Before going in for more surgery (that will create more and new scar tissue) he is trying to see if this will help heal his knee. He is also taking natto-serra to reduce the inflammation and eat away at the existing scar tissue. Red light does penetrate deeper to heal inside, it does take time though. For your immediate satisfaction, this produces some mild heat and adjustable massage. 3 therapies in 1. Can also be used on your shoulder and elbow as well.
I bought this without much confidence that it would work. Within a week of use there was a definite improvement. Can also be used on shoulders and elbows. Bad point, the straps need to be longer.
Important to note from the top that this is a red light therapy device and not an old fashioned “heating” massager. That said the tech on this is pretty good and there’s a lot of options to the type of therapy you’re looking for. It’s a tight fit so make sure you’re not using it on anything but bare skin. It’s a good relaxing process and has good long term benefits to prevent my knee pain.
This gadget is absolutely remarkable!! Use 3-4 times a day and have noticed significant improvements in mobility and pain management. Postponing knee surgery due to the fact this thing is making life less painful and my walks longer and more enjoyable. Cons, have to remember to charge daily, but I use it a fair bit. Velcro straps seem too long. Be gentle, a little bump cracked the screen. Will likely purchase a second unit for use at work instead of transporting back and forth. Highly recommended
It is easy to use. It provides enough length velcro straps to adjust the size of the knee massager. It has 3 levels of vibration to choose from, there is also a 10 minutes timer, which I can use while taking a nap. The heating gives my knee the most comfort, there are 3 optional heating levels, the range from 107 degrees to 113 degrees.
Don't confuse this product with some knee massage devices that use flexible wraps. Some of those allow mobility while wearing the product. This has a hard shell, and I feel it works best when seated. This allows the massaging and heating elements to fully engage the target joint. This product has a large display, with just three buttons: Power, Heat and Vibration/Massage. A long press of the power button powers it on/off. Successive presses of the Heat or Vibration buttons will cycle through the respective intensity levels. Very simple, easy operating process. The device does offer considerable heat and vibrations. Heat intensities: low:113°F medium:122°F high:131°F. I found that it heated up quickly, too. As noted, the massage is via vibrations. I prefer this to a shiatsu process, using hard nodes. The vibrations are effective and comfortable, encased in the hard shell. In addition to the heat and vibration, inside the hard shell is a ring of 20 LEDs for red light therapy. This is most effective if you attach this to a bare knee, for exposure to the red light. It has a good battery capacity, rated at 3000mAh. It takes 2 - 3 hours to fully charge a depleted battery. They state a fully charged battery can sustain 20 days of use. Assuming the 10 minute default timer for a treatment session, that would equate to 200 minutes of working time. So, a charging:operating time ration of 180 minutes: 200 minutes is pretty good. Of course actual operating time will depend upon modes and intensities used and other environmental factors. The 200 minute operating time probably is based on minimal settings. However, it is a good benchmark to compare to similar devices. Overall, it's a quality design, with good materials and construction. It offers three modes of therapy: heat, vibration massage and red light. It appears to be durable. It exhibits ease of operation, with a large, clear display. It earns a 4.5 - 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.
This thing reminds me of a storm trooper helmet for some reason. The exterior is stiff white plastic with a large, fancy digital control panel. The interior has deeply padded areas on all sides and a ring of therapeutic lights directly above the kneecap area. It secures to the knee with two long, padded velcro straps. I'm a small person, and there was plenty of extra room after I strapped this on, so it should fit a larger person without issue. It was completely comfortable to "wear." The controls are easy to use, although it does take what I call "purposeful touch" to operate -- if you touch too briefly or too long, you don't get the result you wanted. There are different vibration levels, light levels, and heating levels. The operation is fairly quiet and unobtrusive. What it felt like during use was just a gentle buzzing/vibration. The warmth on the highest setting was "moderate" but not particularly significant. I'm a "heat junky," so I would have liked more heat. I sort of thought it was going to have a squeezing/rolling massage option, but it only vibrates. After one session, my knee felt "weird." Like, really weird. Not bad weird, but weird. I could tell the device "did something." It was kind of a prolonged tingle sensation, but deep inside, not on the exterior skin. Weird. My opinion is that it DID reduce pain and improve mobility/circulation. Not as much as popping a pain killer or applying a topical pain cream, but a noticeable amount. A session is ten minutes, and there's an auto-off so that you don't over-do it. I really like that this can also be used on shoulders or elbows, as I have a lot of shoulder pain, too. It takes about two hours to fully charge this using the included USB power cord (no wall plug adapter, boo!). The current price on this of $150 is... a lot. At least for my budget. But it seems like a well-made and good quality product overall. Minor suggestion: a simple drawstring or zippered storage bag would be a helpful touch.
The knee massager is wonderful. It has three settings: High, Low, and Automatic. The massage sequence is relaxing and not too aggressive, with pauses in between. The automatic setting has a longer massage time between pauses. It charges quickly. But, I wish the strap that holds it on your knee was an adjustable clip on instead of a velcro, for an easier on and off experience. The straps need to be re-threaded every time you put it on.
The knee massager is a space age hard shell that secures on with hook and latch straps that fasten in the back. The different settings on the massager adjust temperature of the heat and the strength of the vibrations. On the auto setting for massage, the massage switches back and forth, side to side, hitting different areas of the knee at a time. It would be nice to keep the massage placed in just one section as my knee pain is in one section. As soon as the massager hits the section that aching me it switches to another section. The vibrations from the device are very strong. They give relaxing stimutation to the knee area. It's a lot of shaking to take so I can only keep it going for small increments. I wore the knee massager at the table with my husband sitting with me across the table. He said that it was so strong of a vibration that he could feel the vibrations from his seat across from me. When I place the setting off of auto mode and on the manual low heat setting it provided a cocoon of heat comfort. The device automatically shuts off after exactly 10 minutes. It takes a while to charge up, about 4 hours but once it does it works for several massage sessions. The massager is meant to be be worn sitting or reclining but the straps stay on securely enough so that I can get up for a few minutes without having to remove it right away. I really like the portability, it comes in very handy when you want to get up for a quick break and not have to be reliant on plugged in cords.
It is very easy to use. It has the quality of warming up and massaging at the same time. I think it is very suitable for after a heavy day's work or a long walk. Light and adjustable, so no matter if your legs are to skinny or big.
I have had knee problems for almost 50 years. I’ve tried many things, other than surgery. I ordered this and kept my fingers crossed! I charged it up when it came and put it on my L knee. 10 minutes later, my knee felt better. Put it on the R knee. Same thing. I’m still in my first week of using it, but I am walking up and down the steps like normal people do now. I can’t see me NOT using this great device. I knew from previous experience that red light therapy worked. And add the laser! Great. The heat and vibration all play a part. Give it a try!
My hubby has terrible knees so we have tried many things. I stole it for a minute to try it out and I might need one of my own now! I like that it heats up too and tightens the loosens for a great knee massage. It’s also quiet which we found some are loud with others he’s tried! Highly recommend!
About nine months ago, I had a knee replacement and need massage now. I looked at several different massagers and definitely wanted one with heat as well as massage. After looking at many, their features and reviews, I decided on this one. I'm glad I did. I am pleased with this and recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it. Enjoy yours!.
I’m 57 & both my knees are shot & I’m constantly at the doctors & hospitals because of them ! I’ve tried everything but with little success. On arrival it has some charge & the quick start instructions are simple to follow. So straight out of the box I did the required 10 minutes on each knee. Miraculous results even on that 1st session. Oh & im now 23 1/2 stone down from 29 & aiming for 14 stone so: at 23 1/2 stone it fits fine so I have no clue why people are whinging about short straps ( unless they’ve improved them ). Oh but yes the heat it emits does get very hot so I would recommend heat setting 2 for a few minutes then drop it down to 1, all settings are easy to adjust with the touch of a button. No charging light indicator is a bit strange but it says it does flash when the charge gets low so I guess that is fine. Im happy to answer any questions you have as I understand the pain you’re in & the jungle of options out there. It’s pricey but well worth it !!
This knee massager has improved my quality of life, since I have arthritis in my left knee, it is great, it relieves my pain and inflammation, it is very easy to use and to carry in your bag anywhere, you can put it in hot, vibrator and adjust it to the level that you feel most comfortable, for me it is a perfect product🤗👍
I got this for my husband because he has knee pain constantly and is stubborn. It has helped him so much! He doesn’t say he like’s something often and he said he likes this so it definitely deserves 5 stars.
In an attempt to repair knee damage & avoid surgery, I researched this products use prior to it being used in US, which was deemed highly successful. 4 months ago I was using knee sleeve + cane and was semi-mobile. Knee would lock up and I was in enormous pain and could not walk without cane assistance from one room to another. I began using this on both knees 1 x a day, then increased number of massages. I have been using this for 3 months and I have not used my cane for over a month and only using jumper bands to support beneath knees. I can go over 10 hrs completely free of pain and am push mowing my yard, gardening again. Note: I began with a generic brand prior to this product arriving and the fit was all wrong, causing bruising and it was uncomfortable. For those who struggle with inflammation pain or cartilege damage or decreased collagen, the infrared treatments are the best. I massage an after-sun sunburn lotion onto my knee area after massaging which really helps. And I have found applying a heating pad across knees afterwords brings me great comfort. The only negative thing I could note is that the vibration is a bit loud. If watching TV, I simply place a blanket over my knee while completing the massage to decrease the noise a bit. A small price to pay for such amazing relief and return of mobility!
I had hurt my knee a few weeks ago and I hoped that this would help. It does! It is easy to use too. There’s a few programmable settings that you can work through. The heat gets very warm. I’ve had to turn it off a couple times, but at least I am able to do that easily with a touch of a button. The massage and infrared features have felt nice also. The massage is strong but not so much that it hurts. It also depends on the mode that you choose. What I also like is that you can turn on and off the heat, intensity and red light so that you can adjust it to what you need and what feels good for you.
